Background of Greg's interest:

I have always been a lifetime fan of the science fiction genre. While growing up, I was one of the multitudes of fans that watched re-runs of Star Trek the orginal series. It was probably the primary catalyst of this particular passion of mine.

Of all entertainment mediums that I enjoy experiencing, nothing gives me more satisfaction than sci-fi. I enjoy science and the thoughts of what the future may produce in technology and in sociology. I almost feel like I was born 300 years pre-maturely. Sci-fi shows to me are like the NFL is to pro-sport fanatics. .

I do need to qualify however, that I don't like "all" science fiction shows. There have been many of them out there over the years that were just pure garbage. I require good solid intelligent writing with stories steeped in believable future case scenarios and technological innovations. I'm a "thinking man" and provocative stories that strictly apply known scientific theories and take intriguing shots at the what if's and the missing pieces are often my favorites
